"Pagham FC - The Pride of Pagham"

Chichester City 1 Pagham 2

SCFL Division 1
16th August 2011

Pagham beat Chichester 2-1, incredibly for the third time in a row but without James Binfield in the Lions goal, it could have been a whole different story. The early period was scrappy and it wasn’t until just before the half hour that a scoring chance arrived. A penalty awarded to Chichester sawJoe Briggs step up for the Whites. James Binfield provided an immense save to push the ball onto the post for a corner. Chichester ‘Keeper Tom Boyle also proved his worth with a double save at the end of the first half. Two minutes after the break Pagham scored from the spot, Scott Murfin tucking away the penalty. The lead was doubled not five minutes later with James Temple scoring from a header that Boyle tipped just under the bar and into the net. Chichester scored their goal just after the hour with a superb strike from Louis Walsh.
